Job Description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work full time at a highly supportive secondary school in the Altrincham/Trafford area.

The successful Teaching Assistant should have experience within a school setting or transferable skills that lend their hand to supporting young people in a school environment.

Start date: During the summer term with a September start if not possible (1st September 2026)
School timings: 8:30am – 3:30pm
This Ofsted rated outstanding school is the school of choice for staff and students alike. Highly supportive staff and support department, the successful TA will report to the school SENCO and have a full team of over 15 people around them (fellow TAs, support assistants etc).

The school is well located in the Altrincham area of Trafford – easily accessible via public transport as well as having a large on site, secure car park available for all staff. The school would need TAs to arrive by 8:30am with the end of the day being 3:30pm for all Teaching Assistants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
