Teaching Assistant - Secondary School | Bolton
£95 - £110 per day | Start ASAP

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bolton to recruit a Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 and is passionate about helping young people succeed both academically and socially.

The role will involve:

Supporting teachers in the classroom to deliver engaging and effective lessons

Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Providing targeted support for pupils with SEND and EAL needs

Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive learning environments

Supporting pupils to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential

Essential requirements (applications without these will not be considered):

A Teaching Assistant qualification

Previous experience working in schools or education settings

Strong understanding of secondary school expectations and classroom practice

Highly desirable:

Proven experience supporting SEND learners

Experience working with pupils who speak English as an Additional Language (EAL)

A calm, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour
