Positive Behaviour Role Models - KS2 (Mainstream Primary Schools, Manchester)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and resilient Positive Behaviour Role Models to work with Key Stage 2 pupils across mainstream primary schools in Manchester.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's social, emotional, and behavioural development, helping them to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
The Role
You will work closely with pupils who may present with challenging behaviour, providing consistent support, building positive relationships, and promoting engagement with learning. Your role will be key in helping pupils develop self-regulation skills and confidence in a structured school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting KS2 pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
Acting as a positive role model and building strong, trusting relationships
Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons
Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
Providing 1:1 or small group support where required
Requirements
Experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, coaching, or similar)
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, patient approach
Ability to build rapport and motivate pupils
Resilience, reliability, and a proactive attitude
A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed
