Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Weaverham.

This is a part-time, mornings-only position, ideal for candidates looking for flexible working hours while making a meaningful impact on children's learning and development.

The Role:

Position: Teaching Assistant in Year 5
Location: Weaverham
Hours: Monday to Friday, mornings only (8:30am - 12:30pm)
Contract: Long-term with potential for extensionYou will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the classroom, providing both 1:1 and small group support to help children engage and progress in their learning.

Key Responsibilities: 

Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups
Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
Help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally
Support children with additional needs (including SEND where required)
Prepare classroom resources and assist with general classroom dutiesTo be considered for this role, we will need -

Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
