Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Redbridge
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4pm
Pay: £450 – £600 per week (depending on experience)

About the schoolWe're working with a warm, welcoming and inclusive primary school in Redbridge looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 1 pupil with ASD. The school values patience, consistency and positive relationships, and wants someone who can help the child access learning, build confidence and thrive in class.
Key responsibilities
Support the pupil with their learning in class, in small groups and on a one-to-one basis.
Work closely with the child with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and follow individual support plans.
Assist the class teacher with classroom activities, resources and behaviour management.
Observe the pupil's progress and provide clear, timely feedback to the teacher and SENCO.
Help create a calm, structured environment that supports the pupil's engagement and wellbeing.What we're looking for
Previous Teaching Assistant experience, ideally in Early Years or Key Stage 1.
Hands-on experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD.
A warm, patient and engaging approach with young children.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
