Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Waddesdon Salary: £90 -£120 per day Full time Start: September 2025 Are you passionate about supporting young learners and contributing to their academic and personal growth? We are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school community in Waddesdon. Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and providing tailored support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs. You will assist in creating a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and independence. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the class teacher to plan and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum Provide 1:1 and small group support, focusing on students with special educational needs (SEN) Assist with the preparation of learning materials, classroom displays, and resources Help manage student behaviour, fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom culture Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers, assisting in the evaluation of learning objectives Support students during classroom activities, breaks, and field trips to ensure safety and engagement Collaborate with staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies Promote student well-being and build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is desirable A caring, patient, and flexible approach to working with children of all abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students, teachers, and parents effectively A passion for helping students achieve their full potential An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies Experience working with SEN students is an advantage but not essential Benefits Pay to scale Safeguarding training Weekly pay Dedicated team on hand for support Designated consultant £100 for referring a friend referral fee for any successful referrals of friends or colleagues who work 5+ shifts In addition to top rates of pay, and a commitment to your professional development we can offer you a pension contribution scheme and a dedicated consultant to support you every step of the way.  Please visit our website .
