A friendly and inclusive primary school in Dudley is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs across the school. Role Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, speech and language needs, or social/emotional difficulties
*
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions and support plans
*
Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*
Support phonics, literacy, and numeracy sessions as needed
*
Encourage independence and emotional resilience in all learners
Essential Requirements:
*
Previous experience working with children with special educational needs
*
A positive, patient, and empathetic approach
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills:
*
Experience with phonics programmes (e.g. Read Write Inc. or Letters and Sounds)
*
Knowledge of EHCPs and differentiated learning strategies
*
A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
