SECONDARY TEACHING ASSISTANT
BLACKPOOL
SEPTEMBER 25'
LONG TERM FULL TIME
Vida Education are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Blackpool.
Starting in September, this long-term role involves working closely with students who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing them with tailored support to help them succeed in their education.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with EHCPs on a one-to-one and small group basis.
Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive and differentiated lessons.
Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour in learning.
Contribute to the implementation of individual learning and behaviour plans.Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role or supporting students with additional needs.
Understanding of EHCPs and strategies for supporting SEN pupils.
A patient, flexible, and caring approach.
