Do you love helping children grow and achieve their best? Horizon Teachers are looking for a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a warm and supportive Primary school community in Hertfordshire.
You'll play an important role in the classroom by providing hands-on support, working 1:1 with pupils, and running small group sessions across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Your contribution will help create a positive learning space where every child can succeed.

Key responsibilities of Teaching Assistant:
Provide general classroom support across KS1 and KS2, assisting with pupil engagement to enhance learning outcomes.
Provide focused 1:1 and small group support to deliver targeted intervention
Support the class teacher planning, preparation and delivering engaging lessons.
Support pupils with SEND and additional needs
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive and safe environment
What you need to succeed in this role?
Strong communication skills to work effectively with pupils, teachers and parents
Provide 1:1 and small groups to deliver focused learning interventions
Support pupils with SEND and additional needs
Ability to follow instructions and use initiative when supporting classroom activities
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
