Level 3 Teaching Assistant with SEN Experience – NG9
Location: Nottingham, NG9
Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant (SEN Support)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (with potential for a permanent offer)
Salary: £95 – £105 per day
Class Mate is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the NG9 area to recruit a committed and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children who need it most, within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
The Role:

Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
*
Working 1:1 and in small groups to provide tailored learning support
*
Assisting the class teacher with planning and classroom activities
*
Helping pupils stay engaged, focused and included in lessons
*
Contributing to a nurturing, structured and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
*
Holds a Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
*
Experience working with children with SEN, ideally within a school setting
*
Confident managing behaviour and implementing support strategies
*
A caring, proactive and resilient attitude
*
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
