Are you a recent graduate with a passion for education and supporting young people? Tradewind Education is currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Islington from September 2025. We welcome applicants with degrees in psychology, languages, arts, drama, education, or health and social care.
Whether you're looking for flexible ad hoc work or a full-time school-based role, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience and make a real difference in students' lives.
The Role:
Support learning in the classroom, working with individuals or small groups
Assist teachers with lesson delivery, behaviour management, and classroom setup
Provide support to pupils with additional needs, including SEN
Gain firsthand experience in a school setting - ideal if you're considering teacher training
We're Looking For Graduates Who:
Hold a degree in psychology, languages, arts, drama, education, or health & social care
Are enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to work with children
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ideally have experience working with children (voluntary or paid)
Hold or are willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
