Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant two-form entry primary school in the heart of the M19 area. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role will be based in Key Stage 2, supporting pupils across the curriculum in a welcoming and well-resourced mainstream setting.
This Teaching Assistant position offers a fantastic opportunity to become part of a creative and supportive school team. You'll be working either as a general Teaching Assistant or providing targeted SEN support, depending on where your experience can make the most impact. You'll play a vital role in helping pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Teaching Assistant applicants must be available full-time (Monday to Friday) and able to commit to the full working hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm. Unfortunately, part-time availability cannot be considered. The school is seeking a reliable, proactive, and caring Teaching Assistant who is ready to hit the ground running and bring enthusiasm and dedication to every day.
Teaching Assistant - Key Info:
Support pupils in KS2, with year group based on your strengths
Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions as a Teaching Assistant
Promote engagement, confidence, and enjoyment in learning
Collaborate as a teaching assistant with the class teacher and wider staff team
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to classroom management, behaviour support, and pupil development
