Primary Teaching Assistant – Southampton

Pay: £13.75 per hour (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is looking for friendly and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Southampton.
We have lots of different opportunities – from day-to-day cover to longer-term roles – so whether you’re looking for full-time work or just a few days a week, we can help.
What you’ll do:
Support teachers in the classroom
Work with small groups or individual children to help them learn
Help children with different needs, including special educational needs (SEN)
Get the classroom ready and help with activities
Be a positive role model for pupils
What we’re looking for:
Some experience working with children (in a school, nursery, or another setting)
A kind, patient, and positive attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and get involved
A DBS check on the Update Service (or be happy to apply for one)
