Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (30-minute break)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term (opportunity to go permanent)
Reeson Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEMH provision based within a welcoming school in the M30 area. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time from September and offers a long-term opportunity for the right candidate to potentially move onto a permanent contract.
As a Teaching Assistant in this setting, you will be supporting pupils from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs. The provision offers a highly supportive environment focused on tailored interventions, relational practice, and consistency. The successful Teaching Assistant will play a key role in helping pupils build confidence, develop emotional resilience, and re-engage with learning in a nurturing, structured setting.

Key responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role:
* Supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other complex needs
* Helping deliver lessons, activities, and interventions
* Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils across KS2 to KS4
* Promoting emotional regulation, independence, and trust
* Contributing to a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
This Teaching Assistant role would suit someone patient, consistent, and passionate about supporting vulnerable young people. Previous experience in SEMH or alternative provision settings is highly desirable.
