Job Description
Are you compassionate, patient, and eager to make a difference? Do you want to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing primary school environment?We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our Specialist SEN Hub,
Our hub provides a highly supportive setting for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and additional complex needs, ensuring they receive the personalised care and education they deserve.
About the Role:
As an LSA, you will: Support students with EHCPs (Educational Health Care Plans) who have ASD and additional SEND needs Work within three busy classrooms, providing hands-on support in a structured setting Assist with personal care and feeding as part of the daily routine Help create an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individual learning and care plans
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience is helpful but not essential – we provide training for the right person!
* A good understanding of SEN and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Patience, empathy, and resilience to meet the needs of high-support pupils
* A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment
