Location: Blandford Forum with occasional travel to Poole Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Starting September  Opportunity for Permanent Employment Make a Real Impact Where It Matters Most Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers, grow in confidence, and reach their full potential? A specialist SEMH provision in Blandford Forum, is looking for a committed and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our team from September. Working with secondary-aged students who experience social, emotional and mental health needs, you'll be a key part of a nurturing, skilled staff team who change lives every day. What You'll Do Provide 1:1 and small group support to students both in and out of the classroom Build strong, consistent relationships with young people who may have experienced trauma or disrupted education Support teachers in delivering a tailored curriculum that focuses on personal growth, emotional regulation, and academic progress Contribute to a calm, respectful and structured learning environment that promotes safety and success What We’re Looking For A caring, patient and emotionally intelligent individual who can offer calm support through challenging moments Someone who believes in second chances and the potential of every young person Experience working with young people or adults with SEMH/other mental health challenges A team player with a proactive approach and a strong sense of purpose A driving licence/access to a vehicle for occasional travel to Poole.
