Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Pay rate: £13.75 per hour Contract Type: Full-time, Term-Time Only Start Date: September 2025 Are you a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting young people? We are seeking a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing and inclusive school community in Salisbury. About the Role As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them to access learning, develop self-regulation skills, and thrive both in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to provide targeted interventions, one-to-one support, and small-group guidance. The role is rewarding, challenging, and ideal for someone who genuinely wants to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
