Location: Bexley, London
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only (39 weeks)
Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annum (pro rata, dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will involve:

Supporting students in class, across a variety of subjects, under the direction of the class teacher
*
Working one-to-one and with small groups, particularly supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), English as an Additional Language (EAL), or those who require additional academic support
*
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
*
Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays
*
Promoting student progress, confidence, and independence
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*
Previous experience working with children or young people (ideally in an educational or care setting)
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
A patient, caring, and flexible approach to supporting learners of all abilities
*
Good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum of GCSE Grade 4/C in English and Maths or equivalent)
