Daily Rate: £90 to £110 per day (dependant on experience)
Job Details:
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in secondary schools across Greater Manchester from September 2025. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people in the classroom and helping them thrive both academically and personally.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teaching staff to provide general classroom support, as well as offer 1:1 assistance to students when needed. This may include pupils with additional needs or those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). No two days are the same, and your support will make a real difference in the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom-based support across a range of subjects
Deliver 1:1 and small group support to students when required
Help students with EHCPs access the curriculum
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Support teachers with learning activities and classroom management
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working in a school or education setting
A good understanding of the secondary school environment
Confidence supporting students with varying abilities, including some with SEN
Strong communication skills and a flexible, proactive attitude
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply for one
