As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive learning environment, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting individual or small groups of pupils-particularly those with additional needs or learning difficulties. The position is ideal for someone passionate about education, with aspirations to progress into teaching or SEN support.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with SEN or EAL needs.
Support classroom behaviour and help create a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Prepare classroom materials and help with general admin tasks.
Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessments and learning plans.
Help supervise pupils during playtimes, lunchtimes, or off-site activities (e.g., trips).
