Early Years Teaching Assistant - SEN Support - Enfield - September Start
A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Enfield is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team in September 2025. The school is currently holding trial days before the end of the academic year, so now is the perfect time to secure a long-term role.
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils during child-initiated and adult-led learning, with a focus on delivering 1:1 support to children with emerging SEN needs. This Teaching Assistant position will include working with pupils who have speech and language delays, sensory sensitivities, and emotional regulation difficulties.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
Have at least 6 months experience in an EYFS setting
Be confident supporting SEN pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and learning goals
Be a team player and a reliable, nurturing presence in the classroom
