Prospero Teaching is working closely with a warm and welcoming primary school in Langport that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners and contribute to a nurturing school environment.
About the Role:
Support pupils in the classroom, both 1:1 and in small groups
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Provide support for pupils with additional needs, where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Right to work in the UK
Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) desirable but not essential
