Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and caring Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive and wants to play an important role in the classroom. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils’ learning across the curriculum, individually and in small groups
Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Provide additional support to pupils with special educational needs, where required
Contribute to the assessment and recording of pupil progress
Support the school in its commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
A positive, patient, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.
A genuine interest in education and child development
A commitment to upholding the school’s values and promoting inclusion
