Job Description
About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 teams. As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide whole-class support, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and ensure smooth daily routines.
*
Offer targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, including those in our specialist Rainbow Room provision (autism-focused).
*
Assist with small group interventions in reading, phonics, maths and social skills.
*
Help deliver a calm, inclusive learning environment that reflects our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness and Courage.
*
Use daily formative assessment and feedback to support pupil progress.
*
Participate in planning, preparation and evaluation alongside the class teacher.
*
Support behaviour for learning, adapting approaches to meet the needs of a diverse pupil population.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
