Experienced Early Years teaching assistant - Primary School - Haringey - September 2025 Start
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Haringey is currently seeking an experienced Early Years teaching assistant to join their EYFS team from September 2025 on a temp-to-perm contract via Reeson Education. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and confident working in a dynamic classroom with SEN high needs.
The school boasts a warm and inclusive environment with strong leadership and a committed EYFS team. As a teaching assistant, you will take on typical responsibilities such as supporting learning through play, delivering targeted interventions, engaging with parents, and contributing to planning and observations in line with the EYFS framework.
The class includes a number of children with high-level SEN, so the successful candidate must have previous experience supporting children with autism, speech and language difficulties, or complex behavioural needs. Confidence, calmness, and a proactive approach are essential.
