Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
About the Role
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school pupil in Bolton (BL3) starting September 2025. This full-time, term-time position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on a child's educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored support to a pupil with specific learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the pupil's confidence and independence.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor and track the pupil's progress.
Support the pupil during break times and assist with any personal care needs as required.Ideal Candidate
Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
