THE ROLE – Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Teaching Assistant, who will help to create a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment. The unit caters to pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD). You will be providing individual and small-group support tailored to EHCPs and be collaborating with the SENCO & class teacher. Ideal candidates will have relevant training (e.g. PECS, Makaton, Team Teach) is a bonus but not essential.
