Location: Mansfield, NG19
Role: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Part-time)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Part-time, term-time only
Salary: £100 - £115 per day
Class Mate is supporting a caring and inclusive primary school in the NG19 area of Mansfield to recruit a nurturing and reliable 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to start in September. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful impact while working reduced hours.
The Role:
*
Providing 1:1 support to a child with additional learning needs
*
Supporting emotional regulation, communication and classroom engagement
*
Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to follow individual support strategies
*
Supporting learning both in and out of the classroom
*
Contributing to a calm, structured and supportive school environment
Ideal Candidate:
*
Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school or similar setting
*
Calm, patient and confident in delivering consistent, individualised support
*
Able to build strong, positive relationships with children and staff
*
Flexible, empathetic and committed to inclusive learning
*
Available to work part-time, ideally mornings (exact hours TBC)
