EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant – Mansfield
Location: Mansfield, NG18
Role: EYFS/KS1 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, term-time only
Salary: £100 - £115 per day
Class Mate is working closely with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Mansfield (NG18) to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS/KS1 team from September. This is a full-time role supporting across the classroom and in small groups, with general SEN support integrated into the role (not 1:1).
The Role:
*
Supporting pupils in EYFS and KS1 within the classroom setting
*
Delivering small group interventions in areas such as phonics, early reading, and maths
*
Providing general SEN support within class (not assigned to a specific pupil)
*
Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
*
Working collaboratively with the class teacher and SENDCo
Ideal Candidate:
*
Experience supporting pupils in EYFS and/or KS1 in a primary school setting
*
Confident in supporting children with mild to moderate additional needs
*
Calm, adaptable, and proactive in the classroom
*
Able to build warm, positive relationships with children and staff
*
Relevant qualifications or training desirable but not essential
