Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning activities
Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils, including those with additional needs
Help prepare learning materials and maintain a positive, organised classroom environment
Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
Assist with monitoring pupil progress and maintaining records where required
Contribute to the wider life of the school and its community
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children in a school or similar setting
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is patient, adaptable, and able to use initiative
Works well as part of a team and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
(Optional) Has an understanding of SEN and strategies to support pupils with additional needs
(Optional) Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)Before You Apply
