Teaching Assistant - KS2
📍 Location: Ely, Cardiff
📅 Start Date: 01/09/2025
⏳ Contract Type: Temporary
💰 Daily Rate: £88.94 (increases dependent on experience, qualifications, and client rate)
This temporary position is set to begin in September and will involve working closely within a Key Stage 2 classroom, providing tailored support to pupils with a high level of Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Role Overview:
Provide in-class and small group support to pupils with varying levels of ALN.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to adapt resources and activities to individual pupil needs.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and academic progress.
Assist with classroom management and promote positive behaviour strategies.
Requirements:
✅ Enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service)
✅ EWC registration (Education Workforce Council)
✅ Relevant experience working with children, particularly those with ALN
🎓 Desirable: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification
