GSL Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is proactive, compassionate, and eager to support the academic and personal development of students in a dynamic classroom setting.
Responsibilities:
Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to help them reach their potential
Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and support school policies
Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to student progress records
Requirements:
Experience working in a school setting or with young people is desirable
Must hold an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in supporting secondary school students
