About the Role:
As an English Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Working closely with teachers and the English department, you'll help boost attainment and confidence in English through a range of classroom and small-group support.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in English lessons across a range of abilities
Delivering targeted literacy support to individuals and small groups
Supporting students with EAL or SEN needs
Helping create engaging, inclusive lesson resources
Encouraging students to develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills
Monitoring progress and contributing to academic development
Promoting a positive, focused learning environment
