An ambitious and welcoming secondary school in Slough is seeking a motivated and articulate English Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This opportunity is particularly well-suited to recent English graduates or individuals with CELTA, EAL experience, or equivalent qualifications who are considering a career in education.
The Role:
This is a dynamic, hands-on role supporting students' progress in English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The English Teaching Assistant will work closely with classroom teachers and the wider English department to help raise attainment and build student confidence.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting English lessons across a range of abilities
Delivering targeted literacy support to individuals and small groups
Assisting with the development of creative and inclusive lesson materials
