Encouraging progress across different subjects in and out of class
Creating a calm, supportive environment where the child feels safe and understood
Tracking progress and sharing feedback with teachers and parents/carers
What we’re looking for:
Experience working with children with SEN (in school, childcare, or care settings)
A positive and proactive attitude
Good communication skills – you’ll be part of a wider support team
Patience, empathy, and the confidence to adapt to what each day brings
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
What you’ll get from us:
Weekly pay, paid directly (no umbrella companies)
Ongoing support from your personal consultant
Free or subsidised training (including CPD on autism, trauma, and behaviour)
The chance to be part of a school community where your work truly matters
