Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £90 per day
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
Smart Education is seeking a nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 9 to 16 years with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) at a welcoming and inclusive school in Birmingham. Starting this September, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a young person’s life.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to provide consistent, one-to-one support tailored to the individual needs of the student. This role offers a fulfilling chance to be part of a dedicated, supportive school community.

What we’re looking for:
Experience working with children or young people with ASC or additional needs
A calm, consistent approach and strong relationship-building skills
Minimum of 6 months' experience in a UK school or SEN setting
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
A passion for supporting children to learn, grow and thrive
