Teaching Assistant – Erdington, Birmingham
Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Zest Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive school in Erdington, Birmingham. This is a full-time role starting via agency for the initial probationary period, with the potential to move onto a permanent contract after successful completion.
We’re looking for individuals who have experience supporting children in mainstream or SEN settings. However, we’re also open to those with transferable skills from backgrounds such as youth work, coaching, mental health, residential care, or customer service.
Your Role Will Involve:

Building trust and positive relationships with students, many of whom may have experienced trauma or instability
*
Providing classroom support and supervision across the school day
*
Helping students access learning and manage emotions effectively
*
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and external professionals to support student progress
