Primary schools across Wandsworth are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive teams from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in nurturing, inclusive settings where your contribution will have a lasting impact.
📍 Location: Primary Schools across Wandsworth, South West London
📅 Start Date: September 2025
🕒 Contract: Daily Term-Time Only
💷 Salary: £85-£95 (PAYE) per day (dependent on experience)
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support children with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, speech & language difficulties, and social-emotional needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver tailored interventions and in-class support
Help foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their familiesAbout You:
Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in school, care, or similar settings) is highly desirable
Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to working with children
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
