Reeson Education is looking for a nurturing and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the M11 area from September. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time and long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. The successful Teaching Assistant will be based in a vibrant Early Years setting, supporting young learners as they take their first steps in education.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant (ideally Level 3) with a passion for EYFS and early child development.
Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support in EYFS as a Teaching Assistant
Assist the class teacher with daily routines and learning objectives
Deliver targeted support to small groups and individual pupils
Create a safe, stimulating environment for early learners
Work as a Teaching Assistant to promote positive behaviour and social development
Support phonics, numeracy, and communication-based activities
Track pupil progress and liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO
Establish strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
Maintain high levels of safeguarding and pastoral care
Contribute to the wider school community as a valued Teaching AssistantTeaching Assistant - Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent preferred)
Experience working in EYFS as a Teaching Assistant
Knowledge of early learning goals and child development
Positive, calm, and patient approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A passion for helping young children thrive in the early years
A valid Enhanced DBS (on the update service) or willingness to applyWhy this school?
