Teaching Assistant – Scarborough Primary School
Location: Scarborough
Pay Rate: £13.68 to £15 per hour (depending on experience)
Are you a caring and committed Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the classroom?
Castle Education are currently supporting a warm and inclusive primary school in Scarborough that is looking to appoint a flexible and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children across different year groups, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all.
While this role will begin in one well-supported Scarborough school, you’ll also have the chance to work in a variety of other local settings if you’re looking to broaden your experience or keep your working week flexible.
What we’re looking for
• Experience working with children in a school, nursery or youth setting
• A kind, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning
• Ability to support children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Someone who can build strong relationships with both pupils and staff
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
