An outstanding school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 on a temp-to-perm basis.
This Teaching Assistant role offers the chance to work closely with students who have special educational needs (SEN), supporting them in reaching their full potential through personalised, structured guidance.
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
Supporting teaching staff with lesson delivery
Providing one-to-one and small group support
Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborating with the SENCO and pastoral team
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:
Committed to raising achievement and removing barriers to learning
Patient, proactive, and resilient
Confident in safeguarding and understands the responsibilities of the role
Holding an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
