Reeson Education is working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in the M16 area of Trafford that is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join their SEN provision from September. This is a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role with consistency, collaboration, and compassion at its heart.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support a wide range of needs across all key stages - from EYFS to Year 6 - including pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Global Developmental Delay, and other learning differences. You'll work 1:1, in small groups, and provide class-based support depending on the needs of the children.

Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting children with SEN across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 as a Teaching Assistant
Working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with diverse needs
Assisting with communication, sensory regulation, behaviour, and daily routines
Supporting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour management
Delivering tailored interventions in literacy, numeracy, and phonics
Helping teachers adapt learning materials and tasks
Building trust and confidence as a consistent Teaching Assistant
Creating safe, inclusive spaces for pupils to thrive
Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and families as a Teaching AssistantTeaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or supporting children with SEN
Patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
A calm, grounded approach to behaviour and regulation
Confidence supporting across key stages as a Teaching Assistant
Ability to work flexibly and adapt to individual pupil needs
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred
