Prospero Teaching is currently seeking Teaching Assistant's to join welcoming and inclusive primary school's in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.
📍 Location: Taunton, Somerset
📅 Start Date: September 2025
💼 Contract Type: Full-time (term time only)
🕒 Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils in their learning across the curriculum
Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and preparation
Working with small groups or individual pupils, including those with SEND
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
Helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environmentWhat We're Looking For:
✅ Experience working with children (school-based or similar setting)
✅ A patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ A genuine passion for supporting children's development
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
