About the Role:
The Graduate Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers and the SENCo, supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You'll assist during lessons, provide small-group interventions, and help raise student engagement and attainment.
Duties Will Include:
Supporting learning in core subjects like Maths, English, and Science
Offering additional guidance to students who need extra help
Assisting with lesson planning and adapting resources
Providing pastoral support and encouraging positive behaviour
Observing experienced teachers and learning classroom management strategies
