Teaching Assistant – Primary School, Sutton – September Start
Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role this September? A vibrant mainstream primary school in Sutton is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic TA to support teaching and learning across the classroom.
Location: Sutton
Start Date: September 2025
Position: Full-Time / Temp to Perm
Pay: £90 to £110 per day (depending on experience)
Experience: Previous classroom support in a UK school required; experience supporting pupils with additional needs is desirable
The Position:
You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment. The role involves supporting individuals and small groups across a range of subjects, helping to promote learning, participation, and good behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide in-class support across Key Stages

Help prepare learning resources and set up activities

Support individual pupils and small groups with tasks

Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement

Work closely with teaching staff to ensure smooth lesson delivery
Requirements:

Experience working with children in a UK primary school

Friendly, adaptable, and proactive approach

Able to follow instructions and take initiative

Confident supporting a range of learners

Experience with pupils with additional needs is desirable but not required
