Location: M28, Salford
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:45pm, 45-minute lunch)
Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Start Date: September 2025

Reeson Education is working with a welcoming, two-form entry primary school in the M28 area of Salford that is looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role is based in Year 3, offering a mix of general class support and additional SEN support for pupils who need a little extra help accessing learning.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in building confidence, encouraging progress, and supporting the emotional and academic development of children who benefit from structure, consistency, and a caring adult they can trust.

Teaching Assistant - What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting pupils in Year 3 through whole-class, group, and 1:1 Teaching Assistant support
Providing targeted help for pupils with SEN and less confident learners
Helping with reading, writing, phonics, maths, and guided learning
Creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Supporting transitions, behaviour management, and daily routines
Collaborating with the teacher and SENCo to adapt tasks and approaches
Building rapport and consistency as a Teaching Assistant
Encouraging confidence, independence, and emotional regulationTeaching Assistant - What We're Looking For:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in KS2 (preferred)
Knowledge of SEN including ASD, ADHD, and low-level learning needs
A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
Confident communicator and team player
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
