Job Description
TeacherActive are proud to be working with a primary school in Neath who are looking to appoint an excellent and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with pupils throughout the 3-11 age range and the role will start in September on a full- time basis. This position may include some 1:1 support responsibility.
The Head Teacher will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities:
Enthusiasm and self motivation
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
The ability to work as part of a team and receive instruction under the direct supervision of the class teacher.
Able to support strategies aimed to maximise pupil progress and well-being.
Caring, flexible and approachable to pupils, staff and parents.
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent OR relevant professional experience
Evidence of ongoing and relevant in-service training
Work experience
Experience of working within a school environment (minimum of 6 months experience)
