Milk Education is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Newcastle, who are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
Whether you’re an experienced TA, a recent graduate or someone with a background in childcare or education support, we’d love to hear from you! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
The Role:
Supporting the classroom teacher with lessons and activities
Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who may need extra support
Helping create a positive and engaging learning environment
Supporting children with SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities) where needed
Assisting with general classroom management and pastoral care
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with children (in school or other settings)
A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for helping children thrive
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient approach
Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
