The Role - Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Hackney starting in September 2025. This is a Teaching Assistant role that is full-time and long-term.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers across different classes and work with pupils in both group and one-to-one settings. The role may involve working closely with children with special educational needs, including those with Autism (ASD), ADHD, or other learning and emotional needs. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the pupils and the school day.
Experience with phonics, safeguarding, and sensory play is essential for this Teaching Assistant role, as these are integral to the school’s teaching and support approach.
