Are you passionate about education and driven to make a difference in young people's lives? A friendly and inclusive secondary school in Watford is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping students across Key Stages 3 and 4, both academically and personally. Working closely with teachers and the SEND department, you'll provide tailored support, deliver engaging interventions, and help create a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Your Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across a range of KS3 and KS4 subjects
Provide one-to-one and small-group interventions based on individual student needs
Assist students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Foster a positive, inclusive, and focused classroom environment
Help with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom organisation
What We're Looking For
Experience working in a school or educational setting (paid or voluntary)
A proactive, caring, and enthusiastic approach
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred, not required)
Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
